Online Transaction Failed
If you have a SolidWorks online license and the message ’Online Transaction Failed’ pops up when you try to start SolidWorks, this could be caused by the following:
- An online license requires constant internet connection, therefore as a start check that you have a functioning internet connection.
- If you have an internet connection and the message still pops up, a cause for this could be an incorrect FLEXnet folder.
How to fix it:
- Browse to the FLEXnet folder in windows, this folder is by default placed in C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet. Change the name of the folder to for example FLEXnet_old. Start SolidWorks again, a new FLEXnet folder is created and SolidWorks should start as usual.
