Formatting BOM is as formatting Excel?

Formatting the BOM is mostly like formatting Excel.

You can move colones by dragging, insert colones, adjust the height and width, Align left or center, adjust font (by deselect "use document font"). Tips: Drag the BOM in the lower right corner, and you can adjust the hole list simultaneous.

At one point is BOM not acting as expected from experience from Excel:

The problem is that the formatting of the colons in BOM is changing from/to centered and left align when:
Changing BOM type between Parts only/Indented and to/from Top-level only.

Two BOM where the upper is Top-level only and the lower is Parts only type.

The reason for this is that is when formatting the upper BOM (Top-level only) colon Qty. (C) to center orientation: It is not the colon with Qty you are formatting, but colon C. At the lover BOM with Parts only, is the colon C now Description, and Description is inheriting the formatting from Qty.
This is happening because the table has got 2 more colons caused by the top-level only options to view ALL configurations. This cause the BOM to add more colons and this disturb the table. This is different from what you expect in Excel.

Avoid this by place the Qty. to the most right in the list.
Or by not select more than one configuration, see picture below:

Select for witch configurations you wish to show the quantity for.

Or by select in Document property - Tables - Bill of Material to select Restrict top-level only to only show one configuration, see picture below.

Select to show quantity for only one configuration or for many.
