We have probably all sat and picked up a remote control, plastic toy or similar from each other. You may have also wondered how the small "towers" that hold the halves together with a bolt are drawn.
In SOLIDWORKS there is a function called RIB, which simply requires a simple geometry to be able to calculate and extrude the tower from a surface with the desired slip.
Result: With a simple sketch, you can get an advanced result using the RIB function.
