How to troubleshoot an error in a file

This is a dreaded error message when working in SOLIDWORKS but sometimes it happens because of a single configuration.

A quick way to test this:

➊ Open SOLIDWORKS and select File ➔ Open

➋ Go to ”configurations” and select another configuration

➌ Find the assembly in question

➍ Now select "Open” and see if it is possible to open the assembly
