The source folder is not versioned properly

Error message under installation or under Change of installation:

"The source folder is not versioned properly: C:\Users\username\Downloads.

If you copied this folder manually, you may have forgotten to copy the

swdata99.id or swdata1.id files which identify the version of a download or

DVD folder, respectively; or the file could not be written."

To resolve this issue:

Create a .TXT file in the location mentioned in the error message.
Edit the content of the file. The content must be: SOLIDWORKS 20XX SP0X
(change to installed version and service pack. E.g. SOLIDWORKS 2021 SP03)
Name the file: swdata99.id (remove the .TXT extension and replace it with .id)
Continue the installation.
