Sometimes it can be useful to have the same assembly in different configurations on the same drawing. It might even help if the common models also share the same balloon numbers.
The easiest way is to move the components in the assembly, so the components in common is in the top of the assembly. This way the BOM will always update and new configuration is automatically in the right order. Just make sure that "Follow assembly order" is checked.
