When using SOLIDWORKS Pack and Go, you can sometimes have some unwanted extra files in the file package. This can happen even after you have deleted all the referenced files in the assembly.
The unwanted files in the "Pack and Go" could potentially increase the zip file size and send files to a supplier that is not relevant. 💡 In many cases this can be remedied by opening the view palette and checking that the old file is still referencing to the drawing. And if it does, delete the reference.
#tinndahlstipfromthetrain is a new video series where our technical consultant - Lennart Tinndahl - shows you a quick #SOLIDWORKS tech tip each week. Make sure you hit subscribe so you don't miss out on the videos.
