3DExperience Installation: Security settings

When installing a program it is good to do so by running the installation as administrator so you will give it necessary rights for the installation. By doing this on every installation you won't stumble upon an issue that the installation didn't go through or the installation isn't done correctly due to rights. 

If a program that is being installed and needs administrative rights, it is not uncommon that the Antivirus program will block the installation because it will treat it as a threat to the system.

The program 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher is one of the programs that require administrative rights to be installed and access the host file so it can add the Domain IP address.

Since antiviruses then might recognize this program or any other program running through the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher due to the administrative rights as a threat to the system.

What can be done to make sure that this doesn't happen to programs using the 3DEXPERIENCE Launcher to run traffic from and to the platform is to allow apps to send traffic through Windows Defender Firewall (and antivirus program) and URL as trusted sites.
