How to install 3DExperience SOLIDWORKS to new user

1. Click the link in the email to proceed to 3DEXPERIENCE platform or just CLICK THIS LINK.

2. Sign in and click the 3DEXPERIENCE-"compass".

Note: If you haven't created 3DExperience account yet, create the account by selecting the link "Create your account". You can also look at this detailed instruction.

3. Click the role "SOLIDWORKS Design Standard/Professional/Premium" under "My Roles".

4. Click the icon "SOLIDWORKS Design".

5. Launch "3DEXPERIENCE Launcher" installation according to procedure seen in the picture below.

If Windows asks you to allow 3DExperience Launcher to contact this web address, please select the option "Always".

6. Press "Continue" button and select the option "Install All Granted Roles".

7. Proceed by pressing "Next-next" in these dialogs.

IMPORTANT STEP! When you proceed with the Next button to this dialog, the installer will prompt you the question "How would you like to manage your updates?". The installer requests you to choose between these two options. Select your preferred option and continue by clicking Next.

Option 1: Update with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

Select this option if you want the SOLIDWORKS software to always update automatically to the latest version when there is an update in the 3DEXPERIENCE environment.

Option 2: Choose the version to install and update on-demand

Select this option if you want to decide yourself when to update the SOLIDWORKS software.

In case you have an additional license(s) for Simulation products, please enable to desired product and type its serial number.

8. 3DEXPERIENCE installation wizard starts downloading files and installing the software. Wait until the download and installation has been finished. Finally press the "Close" button.

9. Launch SOLIDWORKS.
