How to fix 3DExperience error "Access to this server is not granted to user"

 

User might experience this error message when launching some of the 3DExperience apps.

 

 

This issue usually occurs because company has some expired 3DExperience role assigned to user.

 

How to fix this issue?

 

1. Login to Platform as Administrator and open "Platform Management".

2. Go to "Members" tab, click the "info" icon of the user having the issue (usually yourself) and go to "View all" tab to show all roles, including the roles you are not granted.

3. Find any expired roles and remove the checkmark from any expired roles.

Inversely, find any roles user should have access and put the checkmark on them (if there are still roles available).

4. Now user should be able to launch the app.

Additionally, it is recommend to enable this option "Automatically ungrant expired roles..." to make all expired roles to be deactivated from the user the next time when some role expires.
