You need to review project tasks; we have the tools to list all assignments.
As a project member on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform you can easily review all your tasks in a user-friendly interface which also allows you to not only update the existing tasks but also to add new ones as well.
It’s possible to review all your tasks on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform though an intuitive web interface that let you not only get an overview of all the tasks owned or assigned to you, but also the status of the task, i.e. whether it’s to be done, in progress or completed.
Double clicking any task let you review and edit information about it without leaving the current interface. You can, for example, add or edit the description for the task, change the priority, the percentage complete, update the deliverables and more.
To change the status of a specific task you can either change the maturity state while editing the task or simply drag-n-drop the task directly in the task overview interface.
Moving the task from one column to another will automatically update the status of the task for you so you won’t have to do it yourself.
Your tasks can also be updated directly from within SolidWorks, meaning you don’t have to switch between different applications. To accomplish this, click the arrow pointing downwards and select “more apps and roles”.
Ensure that “Me” is selected in the top toolbar and then scroll down to find “Collaborative Tasks” and double click to launch the application.
You will then in Task Pane in SolidWorks see the very same interface you previously saw in the cloud to review, update and create new tasks. In other words: you don’t have to switch to the web interface – reviewing, creating and updating a task directly in SolidWorks! You can even drag-n-drop tasks to move them from “To Do” to “In Progress”.
